INSTRUCTOR RATING

Once you have acquired enough experience, you can begin to share it with others and teach. Instruction can help other students discover their passion for flight. While serving as an instructor you can continue to strengthen your knowledge, discover more about aviation, and gain flight time experience, all of which is necessary to prepare you for the career that awaits you.

PREREQUISITES

  • Must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License or higher

TRANSPORT CANADA REQUIREMENTS

  • 30 hours minimum total dual flying time (with Class 1 instructor)
  • 25 hours of ground briefings
  • Completion of a Transport Canada Instructor Rating written exam and practical flight test.
